  • Another semi big actor: David Wenham, who is best known for his portrayal of Faramir in LOTR. Also, the guy who played Leonidas was the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, but it would be hard to recognize him from that I guess. But it is true, no huge names.

  • Hey, I'm amazed by this result. According to them, 10% of boys 13-14 have never accessed any porn on the net/TV/etc. That's pretty amazing.

  • Though the Supreme Court just ruled against some of those cases today (Phillip Moris won their appeal against a 79 million dollar award).

  • Of course, a law that meant attorneys have to charge a fee will stop the poor and under privlidged from being able to sue in many cases. I don't think I'm wise enough to know which option is betTer, but I suspect that would be an even worse system.

  • I believe that being a symbiont doesn't preclude something from being an organism; for example, I believe orchids are both. That said, I'm not a biologist, so I could be wrong. If so, well, I just learned something interesting!

  • Well, they could try a false imprisonment charge. However, you have to try to leave (if possible and safe) to bring that charge in most courts.

  • NC, I think you've basically conceded that it's a back up form of birth control for most people. (since poverty, addiction, no support etc they probably were using other contraception) Also, what do you mean Pro-death? I didn't find that mentioned in this thread.
